Thank God for break! I can't wait to go home and just fall asleep and do nothing more than take up space.
Suprisingly enough, this finals week was not as stressful as i had imagined it last Friday. As soon as I finished my speech for Leadership, it was pretty much laid back. It would have been much more stressful if there had been a paper and a closed book test in BritLit, but neither was the case, so that felt great. I got decent results for my Econ and Physics finals, 91 and 95, respectively, and the Christmas party was pretty fun. Anywho, funny story. I was working on my Journalism paper today in the computer lab and I had finished. In my excitement, since this was the last major assignment of the semester, I sent the email to Charnele, but forgot to attatch the document to the email. And I did'nt realize it till I got home. Thankfully, Charnele, in all her eternal awesomeness is retrieving it. Is anyone else pumped for break?
Happy Holidays!!!

Ziemassvētki ir pienācis ātrāk.
Christmas Break needs to hurry up already! With all of these semester exams, papers and presentations looming in the next week, December 21st seems to be the light at the end of the tunnel. I seriously cannot wait to just throw caution to the wind and relax for two weeks..... And then it will be the last half of senior year, which is unbelieveable.
Anywho, last weekend was a blast.... for the most part. My sister had her 22nd birthday party at my house on Sunday, and I took another ACT on Saturday. I think I did pretty good on it overall, but the math test portion was of the devil. There was an asian kid sitting next to me and it was funny listining to him angrily muttering to himself. It was so hard not to laugh. Against all odds I actually finished the math test before the asian, which may or may not be a good thing.
That's all I have for this week, peace out.

Es esmu turēts kā ķīlnieks.
So i'm sitting here in journalism and Bethany is forcing me to blog so that she has something to comment on, so here it goes. Bethany is currently 1up-ing me on my sticky note background idea. Seriously, she has all kinds of different colors and her notes actually have a coherent meaning, not just a drunkenly-typed jumble of random letters. What's even more interesting is that she is being really secretive about what she's typing. (come on, Bethany, who is it that you don't want anyone to know about?). I'm going to hurry up and finish this blog before my time runs out and Bethany pulls my ear again (inside joke). Has anybody else been forced to post something by one of your peers?

izlases skaļas frāzes
Okay, so normally, at this time on Friday nights, i'm usually in bed protecting myself from the harsh freezing cold climate that is my basement, but now i'm here blogging because i didnt take the initiative to do this during the week. Oh well, anyways, its very different trying to think of something to talk about when there is literally ten minutes left until the deadline, so here it goes.......... ah, who am i kidding, it is now 11:57 and I need to wrap this up before i give myself a migraine. Has anybody else had this much of a problem thinking of what to say? i'm just wondering.
Well there it is, it is now 11:59 and i'm signing out.

Kas notiek
I'm so ready for Christmas Break to begin. Not just for the two weeks off but for the "break" part. I need to use this weekend to get my priorities on task and running in the same direction. Between a 10-15 minute presentation, a 5 -7 page paper, and an onslaught of tests, plus an ACT, It will be a glorious time on December 21st at 2:45 p.m. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. Anywho, i'm done talking about problems.
On a completely unrelated note, i'm finding more and more creative ways to kill time in Journalism, and I think its starting to get out of hand. I mean, first I made a new background out of mindlessly-typed stick notes, and now looking at all of the crazy news articles that pop up on MSN. for instance, the flame retardant in most couches can cause cancerous side-effects, so i guess you can have cancer or have your couch burst into flames.
Okay, before I stray more off the beaten path, i'm going to end this post before I accidentally say something offensive.

Es esmu dzīvs!
I'm alive!
Today was the only day i came to school this week due to the flu and probably the worst headache that can be imagined, but its great to be back to see everybody again. It got so boring while staying home so much. It was kinda nice to miss school for a little while though, but the missed test and 80 billion brit lit assignments that i missed will be sure to get under my skin this weekend. Anywho, I can't wait for thanksgiving, my folks are just going out to dinner so i'm going to go up north with the other half of the family, which has always proved to be exciting. A two-day school week next week doesn't hurt, either.
Well, thats all I got, see ya next week!

Pirmā post citā valodā!
As you may have noticed, Mavie7 has translated all of her blog titles to Latin, so, I'm going to steal yet another idea from her, (Thanks for being such a good sport...) From now on, or at least until I forget, my titles will be in Latvian.... Anyways,I am SO excited for this weekend. I'm hoping it will be like last weekend where it seemed to last much longer than normal. (And yes, I am aware that it was longer because it was three days long.) Tomorrow won't be so cool though. I'm going to my aunt's house to rake the leaves from her yard, Yaaay.... Oh well, at least i'm getting paid! And a free dinner does'nt sound so bad either. I'm hoping my work load from school isn't too ridiculous tomorrow, because I feel like that never fails. Anywho, I am typing from my home desktop and the screen feels barren and boring without the obnoxious sticky notes, this might just have to be changed..... Well that's all I got, you'll hear from me next week on whatever random stuff is on my mind at the time, peace out.

TGIF??
Okay, so i'm sort of suprised that it is the start of a three day weekend right now. Since the week was split in half, and I stayed home Thursday due to another flat tire, Everything seems mixed up and confusing. Seriously, I came to school today thinking it was Wednesday, and imagine the joy i felt when I saw it was Friday! I'm looking forward to getting things done this weekend.....like study for this Physics test that I am completely daunted by. From what I heard, it was brutal and its making me a bit uncomfortable for Tuesday. Anywho, thats my rant for the week..

Once again, I am sitting here, staring blankly at a computer screen racking my brain trying to find something to say, As you may have already noticed in my title. Seriously, I feel like this happens all the time, sooner or later, i'm gonna have a system where I ramble on about anything and everything, like my grandparents. Anyway, I think my laptop is possessed, I tried to turn it on yesterday afternoon and it seriously took 20 minutes to turn on, when it then froze and took another 20 minutes to shut off. The light that turns on when the laptop is on is still shining, even though the laptop is off. So yeah, thats my weekly rambling. peace out.

Project Turmoil
So yesterday I had to put together a poster board for a presentation in Leadership. I am convinced that Microsoft Office Word 2003 and my printer were working together to give me the hardest time possible. First, and this is 100% my fault, I waited till the day before presentation to do this, so that sucks. Second, when I was putting together an outline, the margins would change every time I tried to add a new bullet point of add a new topic. Seriously, it came to the point where I was so frustrated that I was frantically looking for a durable object to throw (it's probably a good thing that I didn't find anything). I basically ended up pressing random buttons until the problem fixed itself. Second, I was out of glue sticks to put the material on the board with, so I had to try Elmer's school glue,(I could have probably scraped the adhesive off of post-it notes and it would have worked better)... It soaked the page I used it on, so i resorted to using one-sided tape wrapped around to stick things to my board. My board looked hideous. Third, we needed a handout to distribute to the class, so I get the handout finished, and the printer decides to run out of ink AND jam. So I sat there, angrily glaring at the printer for like 10 minutes before I fixed the problem. So what was supposed to take only an hour or so ended up taking 3 hours. And to top it off, my mind blanked when i got up to present, so my board looks horrible, and my presentation was sloppy.
So that's my rant for today, peace out.

Alright, It is Thursday afternoon and the clock is ticking down till the deadline for this new blog post.. and i have no idea what i want to talk about, so here goes nothing. As i'm sitting here, mindlessly typ[ing out a random post, i can't help but notice that Ma Vie's post also happens to be about not knowing what to say, which is pretty funny. It gets difficult to post something every week, and i'm running out of ideas. of course, you've probably caught on to this by now, seeing that my post is about not knowing what to post. maybe one day something will click in last hour and suddenly i'll have something engaging to talk about, but for now, this is all i've got. Take it or leave it.
Well, thats it. peace out.

Bored Background
So i found the sticky note application on my login desktop and i was bored. (a REALLY dangerous situation). So i started spamming them across the screen until they completely covered the screen. I don't know why i'm tellling you this, probably because Ma Vie told me to. It was hysterical when i was filling those notes with random letters, too. It probably sounded something like hail stones hitting a tent roof, which is pretty obnoxious. It's also fun to look for all of the words i accidentally typed. so far, i've found "blue","salad', and "well". You should try it some time.

For those of you who are not still distracted with the title.... THIS WEEK IS PRETTY AWESOME....I mean, it must be since even my shift key could'nt work. First off, i have finally gotten to attend some of the volleyball games that I never had a chance to spectate before. My mother is usually home and wants me to he home really early, like around 8 or 9 pm, but now she's in Florida with my aunt so my curfew has been more flexible. It's a great time whenever i can support the school and not be so segregated from people.
Today, i'm going to that E.G. Nicks place.....again. If there is still no manager there and they tell me to come back again, i seriously might punch a small child. (Not really.... probably.... maybe....) Anywho, this is what's on my mind while sitting here typing and looking back and forth toward the clock to make sure i post on time.
Well, enough rambling, peace out.

Meh
Well, this week has been quite eventful, since its the first full week of the school year. At first, I didn't even know it was a full five days until i realized how the days seemed to drag on. But it's been fun, i guess. The week has been pretty easy so far, the daily work load has been light against all odds, and the week will end on a high note with the student council flag football game tomorrow. speaking of student council, i'm just gonna say congratulations to Jeremy, Ashleigh, and everyone else who is on student council. I love this school and the family-hood that we share and i'm excited to see how great this year will turn out.
Anywho, the job searching is still not leading me anywhere. A place i'm applying to, called E.G. Nicks has been extremely annoying. Tuesday marks the THIRD time they've told me to "come back in a few days when our manager is here". I'm starting to think that it's not worth my time and effort to show up every day anymore. Nobody else has called back either, so once again, i'm stuck waiting for somebody to call back.
Thats my input for now, peace out.

Reflections on this week.
So this week has been a productive one.... for the most part. Classes are just starting to have projects and tests and it's been pretty manageable so far. I got a 106 on my first physics test and i'm pretty exited for that. About 90% of my daily work has been for britlit. ughhhhhh.
Anyways, I might have finally gotten a job! I mean, when the lady accepting applications awkwardly stares at you and says "I'll keep you in mind", with a menacing grin on her face it means you got the job, right? So far, i've applied to E.G. Nicks grill/tavern, Arby's, Mancinos pizza and grinders, Dollar Tree, Kohls, MC sports, Gamestop, Meijer, and Sonic. Hopefully these kids in my neck of the woods will quit in order to go back to school, or in my locale, somewhere in the middle of a cornfield between a rock and a tree.
Voting for student council is tomorrow and i must admit i'm a little nervous. I've been a part of this school since kindergarten and i'm really eager to be a part of it, but i feel like i didn't sell it when i gave the speech. My anxiety even made me forget to speak into the microphone. oops. Regardless of the results, i'm still grateful to be part of such a wonderful family here at AHCS. Trust me, this year isn't the last time i'll be a part of this school.
Well, thats my 2 cents worth, peace out.

A response to Ma Vie
So apparently, by reading Bethany Goss's blog with a smile on my face, it means that I am smirking at her "ferociously despicable attempt at making a cool, smooth blog." I find it highly coincidental that she does not include my explanation for my "smirk".I was merely complimenting her ideas and the creative spin she was putting into her blog. Can anyone else explain how giving a compliment is the same as throwing her under the bus? I didn't think so. :)
peace out.
peace out.

blah.
Well, it's day 6 of senior year and I already feel like the year is almost over. The anticipation is killing me! It's like a jack-in-the-box, where you know its going to pop out at any moment, yet you can never really be prepared for it. So I'm waiting for this jack to finally make an apperance and I'm sitting around winding the toy over and over again but it's just not happening. It's like that. I'm a senior, I'm told I'm a senior I even tell myself I'm a senior but it's just not clicking! So I keep going on through my days wondering when the music will finally end and I feel like when that Jack finally gets out of the box everything will click and my mind will finally realize I AM a senior then I get handed my diploma and suddenly *poof* I'm not. Whoopdeedo. Welcome to the real world and all the glory is gone in one instance after all that waiting.
thats pretty much it, peace out.
thats pretty much it, peace out.
